Chip Gave Me So Much…

Chip Hooper gave me so much as a friend and mentor. To list it all on here would probably break the Internet.
So of course, the most prized possession in my office was a gift from Chip and sits next to me daily. It will always be a reminder of such a great man.
When I first became an agent we were in the middle of moving offices, and Chip wanted to get rid of his worn out map that he had used for 20+ years. When he offered it to me, it felt like King Arthur offering me Excalibur.
It was such a small thing, but it meant the world to me. And sitting here looking at it makes me feel like I will always have a little piece of my friend with me.
Thank you for everything Chip. I’ll miss you brother. If I’m 1/10th the human being you were I’ll be doing just fine for myself.
